Central Coast Web Design wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control, or other assistive technology. We build accessible websites for our clients, and we hold our own site to the same standard.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We're working toward that goal and may not have reached it on every page.
What we do
- Use semantic HTML and landmarks so assistive technology can understand the page.
- Make navigation and forms usable with a keyboard alone.
- Show a visible focus indicator on interactive elements.
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Keep text contrast readable.
- Respect the "reduce motion" setting on your device and scale text with your browser settings.
- Offer Spanish-language pages for much of the site.
Known limitations
Some older blog posts or third-party content (such as embedded media or external links) may not be fully accessible yet. We're improving these as we find them.
Tell us about a barrier
If you have trouble using any part of this site, or need information in another format, please let us know. Tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you use if you're comfortable sharing it. We'll reply within two business days and work with you to fix the problem or give you the information another way.
